I [heart] this town.
What I love about my little corner of suburbia is that after my 10-minute commute home (from the vicinity of a mall and a lake and a nice restaurant cluster) I can walk for 20 minutes, and then spend another 20 meandering among the trees without hearing any car noise or seeing any sign of civilization more intrusive than a nicely paved path. (That said path causes one to end up in the vicinity of a used book store would be a side benefit had the walking started sooner).
