Author's Notes for this chapter: well... I had been waiting quite a long time to write that final sentence in the chapter. That particular sentence and another scene that hasn't happened yet were the main drivers as to why I wrote this fic and the giant backstory (Whispers series) behind it. I always was curious as to what Seta Soujirou would be like, had Kenshin not mentally broken him before during their second battle. We all know that he was already a speedster and that he was faster than Kenshin. We know that Kenshin narrowly survived that battle because he mentally broke the kid. What I wanted to explore was just how blindingly fast the kid would be, had he not dwadled at three or two steps below shukuchi... and now I've set him back on the board as a clear and present danger to all of our heroes (and anti-heroes).
