Pack Rat I Am
Well I'm back from my day of Switchboarding and Vending. I have to say that I like the new Switchboard Operator. She's working really hard and already has a good command over the Switchboard. I also had fun vending. I felt important carrying pop bottles across campus for some strange reason!
I also picked up my books for my classes today. I feel so dorky for feeling so excited about a Lord of the Rings Class. But wouldn't you be excited if the only textbooks for the class are the Lord of the Rings books and a devotional with the title "Following Bilbo's Footsteps"? What can I say, I'm a Lord of the Rings nerd at heart.
Why is it that every time I go into K-6 it feels smaller? Maybe it's because the pile on my bedroom floor keeps becoming larger and larger. Oh dear, I don't know how I'm ever going to get it all in my room at school! My problem is that I can't think of anything to leave at home. I'm such a pack rat! I have so many collections and so many things I like. I hate getting rid of anything because I might someday need it! Well, as always I'm determined to bring less back to school this year, or at least pack more efficiently so it looks like less! Only a few days left to go.
