Work, the Muster and Tomatoes

This last weekend of work went pretty good. I only broke one thing, pretty good for me! My boss asked me to show the new girl the ropes which made me feel good! I'm not the new girl anymore! On saturday I went to the Civil War Muster in Jackson and saw my dear publication! My picture is right inside the cover, very exciting!
Tomorrow I am driving up to SAU to work in the Switchboard, not what I exactly want to do, but I'll get some hours in, then use the Library, check out the bookstore, and talk to the Financial Aide people. I'm such a people pleaser, I always want everyone to be happy. Sometimes I feel like a superhero, "here comes Megan once again to save the day and do things even when she doesn't want to." I need to find a better balance between having a servant heart and working myself crazy. I'll warn you all right now that this Fall will be a busy one! Please don't get mad at me if I don't have much free time. I have to write my honor's thesis, do research for Dr. Woods, do my independent study with the Crusader, work in the switchboard during the week, plus still work out at Southern Exposure on weekends. Every year I stress about all I have to do, and every year I'm just fine, God see's me through it. Really I'm excited about all the opportunities in front of me. I can hardly believe it's my last year at Spring Arbor. I'm excited about moving into our K-house on Saturday. It will be fun to be back with all my friends again!
Well my mom and I are canning tomatoes tonight, back to the kitchen I must go!
