(no subject)
I haven't seen this mentioned yet and I really need to know if someone else saw it too or if I imagined it. . .possibly minorly spoiler-ish for future episodes . . .
They showed a show promo after last night's episode, at least on my CW affiliate station, that was basically just a bunch of stuff from various season 2 episodes, mostly 2x01 Marked since that's the episode they'll be repeating next week. But near the end for like .2 nanoseconds, seriously it was like the length of a blink, I could have sworn I saw Denna, on a horse, in white Mord'Sith leathers. WHITE MORD'SITH LEATHERS!!!!!!! Am I crazy? Did anyone else see it? I DVR'd it and watched it kind of late so I'm wondering if I was hallucinating or half asleep or something. I nearly squeed my pants off then instantly began to wonder if I imagined it because that very thing was amongst my top ten things that I'd kill to see them do on the show this season.
Anyone who's read the books will totally recognize what I'm talking about. For anyone who hasn't: in the books, Mord'Sith wear brown leather most of the time (it's like their version of day-of-the-week undies), white leather when they're training someone (so as to really show the blood and gore they work so hard to cover themselves in) and red leather for... something that I can't remember right now. :D Sorry, it's been awhile since I read them and all my books are living in boxes due to a recent move or I'd look it up. I'm sure someone else will have the answer. :)
