Panic

Yes, I am a panic-er. It just happens. I get anxious when I sometimes don't know the outcome of something or the view of the other side.

So I hadn't really heard from Susan in a while, since I know she always tries to respond to my messages in a prompt manner. I figured she must have been busy, or hated me, two scenarios that could be true. It was actually the first one, and since I focused on the second one, I was a bit bummed all week. It's funny how a day can change things. Thursday she decided to message me back about seeing Inception, so I finagled my way into leaving early from work Friday and met up with Susan at Universal CityWalk.

Inception was quite amazing. You know a movie is good when everyone in a packed theater has the same reaction to a little moment in the movie. Susan and I walked out of that movie sorta giddy at the site of such an awesome movie. She still had her very strong Captain and Coke (now watered down), so we sat down outside and talked, mostly about her job situation and the drama that took place. I've always enjoyed my conversations with her, which I told her. I don't generally talk a lot, and let others lead conversations. With Susan, I have to respond much more, mostly because she enjoys my perspective on things. "We are a lot alike," she mentioned. We agreed to meet up again next week, when I finally have a day off (I've been working since last Sunday and my next day off is Wednesday!).

Overall I can see this relationship building for a long time, unless I do something ridiculously stupid, which is not outside the realm of possibility.
