Something short and simple here. I have finals the next three days so after that I'll get a lot more of Wounded up!
Title: Waiting For The Heavens
Author: Me, Peachy
Pairing: Twins
Summary: Love You. Miss You.
Disclaimer: Not real. Never will be.
A/N: To make it realistic the letter had to seem like Benji wrote it and we all know he does not have proper capitalization and punctuation.

its been awhile hasnt it? two years is a long time. 730 days without your twin… i’m sorry i’ll stop. i just miss you thats all. i can see you reading this and almost wanting to throw it away but don’t. not yet. ive got a lot to say.
im sorry i ruined everything you had going for you. im sorry i took you away from hilary and your beautiful daughter alicia. im sorry i forced you into sex with me. im sorry i said those 3 words. i could sit here and write a thousand more apologies but i know they have little affect on you now. but i still mean it when i say i love you.
-benji
Benji reads over the letter once more, satisfied with it he places it in an unmarked envelope and jams it into the pocket of his hoodie before heading outside. It’s raining outside but it doesn’t seem to bother him. It’s how Joel left his house, out into the rain.
Benji made his way down the side of the road. A white cross rests a few feet from the curb. Benji can never stomache looking at them. He knows what they mean, a faital car crash took place here. Benji picks some of the wet wildflowers before continuing on his way. The flowers are for Joel. He also picks some roses from Ms. Stevens garden. She used to yell at him for doing so a few years back, now that she knows the purpose she yells no more. The roses are also for Joel.
Benji pushes the gates to Joel’s new house open. He makes his way down the path to Joel’s doorstep as damp autumn leaves stick to his shoes. Benji is ready to apologize. He drops the wildflowers and roses at his feet and takes out the envelope. He can’t give this letter to Joel, it’s out of date. Benji removes the letter, setting it back in his pocket. On the envelope he writes:
Love you.
Miss you.
He lays the envelope onto the flowers before walking away.
Ten years ago today was the death of Joel R. Madden. He died in a car crash on his way home from his twin brother’s house on a rainy night just like this. The two were said to be feuding.
