Awakened
The cats get so put out when I wake them outside of their normal cycle. Benjamin is giving me the stink eye because while I type this I'm sitting in the seat in my office that he normally sleeps in during the day. Sorry, bud, you got up to bug your sister, so you lose, until I go back across the room to the work desk.
This morning there was a definitely difference in the light coming in owing to the smoke from all the fires out west. The normally bright white carpet was a shade of orange in the morning sun. Glad I'm still taking a break from running outside to focus on jumping rope in my garage; I'm not in a sensitive group for air quality stuff, but who needs the extra junk to breathe?
Now Ezri is kneading away in the bottom of the cat tree and she's loud enough that it sounds like an engine is cycling outside.
Finally getting rid of the most troublesome thing on my work to-do list, which I think I shall send out late on Friday so I won't have to deal with it any more this week. Then I can dig into everything else on my scattered to do list. Ugh.
