DNM, new year new you
I haven't touched my online journal thing for a while! Several reasons, the main one being I got really busy and didn't have time. Others being our internet went stupid for a while, I practically lived at Barnes and Nobles during December and I'm not home for longer than a day or two at a time now. So, for those of you how may actually read this junk, sorry.
I'll do an update on my life later. This entry is for the girls though. Or boys who are interested in girls stuff. I don't ask. Please check out this site www.dnmmagazine.com DNM (pronounced Denium) is the perfect fit for any young woman. Created and run by my friend Kate, it is a awesome resource for young women, too old for Seventeen magazine, too young for Cosmo or Glamour. We don't advertise $500 purses or claim an outfit that costs more than tuition is a steal. We don't have advertisers at all, and actually feature a how to make your own purse section. Please check out the site and subscribe. Not having advertisers is cool, but having them is even cooler.
DNM is also an outlet for young women trying to make their first steps into the professional and career world. (Like me) So, if any readers out there would like to contribute articles or ideas to DNM, email me! I'm an editor and need writers. My goal is promote informed and aware young women. My "world" section is suffering. DNM has a internation flavor as the writers are from all over the globe.
I hope everyone checks it out and then tells all their friends. Although I've been away from IUP and the college scene since May (tear) I know I would have loved this type of magazine. It would have mad the discovery that college life does end much less shocking.
