Ku De Ta

Since we were in Seminyak, we had to try the infamous ultra expensive restaurant that is Ku De Ta.

When i mean expensive, i mean dishes that cost $30 minimum. The cheapest item in their menu is $30! That's even more expensive than the restaurants in New York or Chicago!

In all the books that we read, they all said that it's important to make reservations, especially during peak season, which was the month that we went to. But it wasn't really full.

They had nice interiors, but not nice enough to compensate for the price we had to pay for dinner.

They also had nice ceiling details. And I must say that their restrooms are divine. Too high tech though that it took me probably 10 seconds to figure out how the faucets work. Because they were invisible faucets!

So what did we have for dinner?

I had the baby lobster risotto, which had too much frothe on it by the way. But it was good, and the lobsters were fresh.

While Trina had the rack of lamb with lamb lumpia!

It was good. But it still felt like the price was too much. So would i come and eat there again? Never, especially after doing the whole Ubud temple tour. Eating there felt like it was a sin..

Meanwhile, in other news, saw this other restaurant that looked cool. I wanted to go and try, but I was too full already.

And also saw this store that had interesting lighting fixtures.
