Lets Take a Vote, Shall We?

Ok, so I need some oppinions. I am supposed to be in two places at once on Saturday, which obviously isn't going to happen. Both are fairly important and I have to go to one or the other... so which is it?

A. The Reherse-a-thon for the marching band trip to DC. Technically, I'm supposed to be there. I didn't really want to go in the first place (long, boring, etc) but we will be learning important stuff for DC. On the one hand, it might be fun, and that means that I might even be able to hang out with the people going to Funway Saturday night, which would be fabulous if it worked out. BUT, on the other hand I know that if I stay I will feel really guilty because I'm not at...

B. My grandfather's 80th birthday party, in WI. This is really important to my mother, and she isn't going to be happy if I don't go (although she says she "understands.") Yes, it would be long and boring and I don't particularly want to go, but he IS my grandfather. He has diabetes, too, and he hasn't been doing too well, lately, so that is part of why we are throwing the party in the first place. Plus, seeing my family (at least the ones close to my age!) would be great. I would miss the rehersathon and Mr. O wouldn't be the happiest, but he also said that he would "understand" if I go.

So now I have to decide. Gah! I don't know which to choose. Any advice???
