Stuck.

During my lunch break today I went to the L.A. Mart. For those of you that don't know it's the building in the matrix commercial where you see the car go under that bridge. That bridge connects the Mart to a 6 story parking lot. I was at the mart to pick up my mom's christmas present that I'd had on hold at this showroom a couple months. So I ( Read more... )

Wow, that's some scary ish dogg! I couldn't imagine you getting all wigged out and scared from it though, but I guess it's a "gotta be in that situation" kind of thing. I'd probably be a little freaked out, not scared though, because I'd know that eventually someone would get me out. I dunno about thinking I would die in there, but when you described what the elevator car did once it started moving again, I'd probably have that thought it my head as well. Providing you can see where the elevator is at the time, if that happens, jump in the air when it hits the ground, that way you don't experience the full impact, at least I don't see why that wouldn't work. Anywho, I'm glad to see you and the ladies got through it okay, and that you're still here with us man. :)

There was an instance at school last sememster, I was with some other people on like the 4th floor waiting for one of the 4 elevators there to come, all the sudden as I'm walking through, I see the doors to one of them crack open, then I realize there's people in the car. They try to pry them open (it was full of some older Asian women and some kids our age). They couldn't get it because the floor of the car was about 3 feet down from the floor of the building. So the car was past the actual floor. People are just standing around like "call 911, call mantainance, call the fire dept..." and I'm just like "what a bunch of morons, use your head..." and I run over, and pryed those bizatches of doors open, and the people stood there for a moment huddles towards the back, and i was like "c'mon, get the hell outta there!" And some other peeps helped pull them out, the ones that couldn't just climb up the 3 or so feet. And all while someone else was holding the doors open to keep them from closing. I was kinda scared by it, since what if the car was the start moving? It was craziness!

Yeah, I really wasn't trippin at all until I found out they hadn't done anything to try and get us out yet after 15 minutes of knowing about it.

Yeah, that would piss me off more than anything, they don't know what kind of people are in there, weather it be a pregnant woman, a clausterphobe, or some psycho nutcase. Just never know, I'm glad you kept your cool, and did a good job not letting your true fear show to the ladies, not to be macho, but to keep the experience calm. :)
