Halloween at Downton - this is not the fic I meant to write...
But it is the fic that allowed itself to be written. I have four others in various states - mostly just beginnings or a conversation - but for some reason I couldn't really move them forward.
It's ironic: I wanted to write Downton Abbey ghost fics because there were so many to choose from, but I ended up writing about ghost!Violet.
I might, if I keep writing, go back and play with the others. They had some potential. In the meantime, I'm going to study plots like I said I would. Maybe instead of NaNoWriMo I should come up with 30 story ideas - fanfic, original, AU, whatever. Maybe I should be realistic and aim for 10.
