I've been listening to the Panic-Fun collaboration, C'mon, on repeat and each replaying results in me feeling more sad. I know it's supposed to be a hopeful and uplifting song, but it just makes me feel so fucking sad. All I can hear is loss, missed chances, lost opportunities, and what could have beens.

So after a difficult 2009, everyone who spun away from their bandom roots have launched their own projects and it's amazing how different they each sound. Well, Ryan and Jon and Pete and Patrick and Joe and Andy, at least. We have yet to hear anything from Brendon and Spencer. Bah to that March 2011 announcement, new music is too long coming. Also, the knowledge that Alex Greenwald wrote Somebody to Love Me with Mark Ronson makes me go Awwwww. The live performance is okay, but Mark is right, getting Boy George to sing in this song gives it a whole meta layer. It is on repeat! The random sounds that! just! work! so well!

The Killers are coming in for a concert on the day we leave for Bangkok. Why is this my life?

So I won $25 from answering a random survey and I want to give myself a present. The brick and mortar stores around here don't carry The Hush Sound and my only options are (a) Amazon or (b) iTunes.
