Петиция в поддержку заключенной палестинской поэтессы Дарин Татур (Dareen Tatour)
Дорогие друзья!
"Еврейский голос за мир" (Jewish Voice for Peace") в Соединенных Штатах инициировал петицию за освобождение палестинской поэтессы Дарин Татур (a petition calling for the release of Palestinian poet Dareen Tatour) и снятие с нее обвинений.
Мы хотели бы получить подписи поэтов и писателей, но призываем подписать петицию всех. Дарин Татур была арестована 11 октября 2015 года в своем доме в Рейне (Reineh) у Назарета, и более трех месяцев ее содержат в разных тюрьмах. Ее обвинили в "подстрекательстве" из-за стиха под названием: "resist, my people, resist them" ("Сопротивляйся, мой народ, сопротивляйся им"). Этот стих не призывает к насильственному сопротивлению, но осуждает насилие над палестинцами со стороны поселенцев и армии.
В настоящее время Дарин находится под домашним арестом в тяжелых условиях: суд отказал ей в возможности жить со своими родителями в Рейне, и ее брату пришлось снять квартиру для ее нахождения под арестом в районе Тель-Авива. На нее наложено круглосуточный запрет покидать дом, и ее два добровольных охранника находятся при ней посменно. Электронный браслет на ноге регистрирует все ее передвижения.
Следующие два судебных слушания назначены на июль и сентябрь - это значит, что Дарин будет лишена свободы целый год еще до вынесения приговора.

Премьер-министру Бенджамину Нетаньяху:
Мы нижеподписавшиеся, писатели, художники, люди во всём мире, действующие по велению совести, убеждены, что поэзия - не преступление. Мы призываем вас немедленно освободить поэтессу и активистку Дарин Татур от домашнего ареста и снять с нее все обвинения.
Татур обвинили в подстрекательстве к насилию, ссылаясь на опубликованное в Youtube стихотворение. Она стала одной из 150 палестинцев, арестованных за выражение в социальных сетях несогласия с израильской оккупацией. Первое судебное слушание по ее делу состоялось в прошлом месяце, и ей было предъявлено обвинение в публикации в Youtube стихотворения под названием “Qawem ya sha’abi, qawemhum” (Resist my people, resist them - "Сопротивляйся, мой народ, сопротивляйся им").
Мы убеждены в праве деятелей искусства и писателей свободно выражать свой художественный взгляд на мир и свободно делится своим творчеством. Действия израильского правительства обнаруживают стремление заставить Татур замолчать, что является частью гораздо более широкого круга репрессий против всех палестинцев. Выражение протеста против угнетения и оккупации поэтическими средствами - ненасильственный шаг по своей природе и не должен рассматриваться как преступление любым правительством.

Petition in support of detained Palestinian poet Dareen Tatour
Dear Friends,
"Jewish Voice for Peace" in the US initiated a petition calling for the release of Palestinian poet Dareen Tatour from house arrest and the cancellation of the charges against her.
The intention is mainly to collect signatures of poets and writers - but all are welcomed to sign.
Dareen Tatour was arrested on October 11, 2015, from her home in the Reineh (near Nazareth) and held more than three months in various prisons. She was indicted for "incitement", based on a poem written under the title "resist, my people, resist them." Her poem does not call for violent resistance, but denounces violence by the settlers and the army against Palestinians.
Dareen is held today under house arrest in difficult conditions: the court refused her detention to be in her parents’ house in Reineh. Her brother had to rent especially an apartment for her detention near Tel Aviv. She is forbidden from leaving the house 24 hours a day and her two volunteer guards are confined with her in shifts. An electronic cuff attached to her ankle reports all her movements.
The next two hearings of the court were set for July and September - so that Dareen will probably be denied freedom of a full year even before the verdict in her trial.

Sign-On Letter for Dareen Tatour
To Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
We, the undersigned--writers, artists, and people of conscience from around the world--believe that poetry is not a crime. We are calling for poet and activist Dareen Tatour to be released immediately from house arrest and for all charges to be dropped.
Tatour has been charged with incitement to violence based on a poem posted to Youtube. She is one of over 150 Palestinians arrested in the last year for their expressions of resistance to the Israeli Occupation over social media. She had her first court hearing last month, charged by Israel for Facebook postings and a poem posted to YouTube called “Qawem ya sha’abi, qawemhum” (Resist my people, resist them).
We believe in the rights of artists and writers to freely express their artistic vision, and share work freely. The Israeli government's actions reveal a desire to silence Tatour, part of a larger pattern of Israeli repression against all Palestinians. Expressing resistance to oppression and Occupation through poetry is by nature non-violent and should not be criminalized by any government.
