Aaugh. WTF @ "sorry". Hahaha. He's acting as if he's forced to be a part of your study group and therefore doesn't think you should be able to take charge of it, but....it's YOUR study group! If you organized it and have been taking the lead for everything, then it is what it is...if he doesn't like you being in charge he doesn't have to be a part of it, but he's got no right to be rude about it. Which he was doing - regardless of whether or not he found it funny, saying stuff like "the REAL study group" is deliberately undermining your efforts, and him saying that it wasn't doesn't change that fact.
