..when someone actually writes back in a timely matter!
I wrote on Art's Tribe comment space:
he's good for long walks, naps, curling up, dressing up shmancy, looking at art, critiquing fashion, giving you "the eye", making (welcome) inappropriate comments, holding my attention, communicative glances, bullshitting (specifically, bullshitting while wine tasting), meowing realistically and freaking out cats, and cutting apples to salad-appropriate sizes.
from what i understand, he's also an unconscious multitasker, able to unknowingly attend to multiple tasks.
(i have no evidence to back this up, but, i also suspect that he is at least *part* pirate - aarrrrgh! )

Message Sorry, dear. I apologize for not calling. I did have a wonderful time, felt a bit in a melacholy daze most of yesterday afternoon on my drive away, but am not intentionally avoiding you. I've been shying away from spending much time in front of the computer on this trip and plan to save most of my communicating (outside of personal one-on-one communicating) until I get home. I'm still up in Petaluma hanging out with Helena and probably won't be home until tomorrow evening or Wednesday morning.
Thanks for the kind words and, rest assured, you have one on the way. I've been thinking about what words best suit you in my head this afternoon.

A dangerous clustering of creamy freckled skin and red hair, she sees what you're doing even when you think you're just out of sight. She chooses her words - and her coffee - carefully. She makes friends everywhere she goes...
I couldn't imagine anyone else I'd rather drive 600 miles for.

could i melt ANY more, please? i'm tempted to write back and clarify that i actually didnt think he was ignoring me, i was just checking in on the 3-day-rule. then again, i think i'll just wait until i talk to him on the phone when he returns home to portland. writing again seems pushy. not that seeming pushy ever stopped me before. but, no. RESIST, damnit. ..but.. but.. but... NO!!
i looked into flights at the end of may/start of june from Oakland to Portland.. hmn. just a thought. unfortunately Sun country the airline that i would have taken to visit jerkface jeremy doesnt fly to portland, so mom or becks will likely use those credits. that's just fine. as long as they use 'em, i dont really care.
oh shit, it is already 3pm and i have a doctors appointment at 4pm. i should move my happy ass along... ..but, GAWD, this boy is adorable. (could he do any more damage?! omg!)
(makes mental note to order that teleportation device from EBay)
