After Melbourne, our next stop was Canberra. Driving from Melbourne to Canberra is a bad idea, unless you have more than 2 people. It took us about 8 hours to drive, and even taking turns to drive, we were really tired when we reached Canberra. There was also a dip in temperature as compared to Melbourne. Canberra was really like winter; it was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g, especially at night. Driving is also a bad choice because of high fuel prices. It is cheaper to fly, but minus the experience on the road I guess. Funny thing, even though we were tired, we caught Kung Fu Panda at the cinema that night we reached Canberra. The next day (which was a Sunday), I had all-you-can-eat Yum Cha (haven't had this for the longest time) for brunch, followed by a visit to Questacon, a centre to the likes of the Singapore Science Centre. Still quite full from brunch, YY decided to make bo bo cha cha for dinner. To cut the long story short for Canberra, YY attempted to bring me to lots of places but failed in the end because he lost his way. :(

Anyway, after Canberra was Sydney. It was only a 3 hour drive, and my navigation with the help from the street directory, from Canberra till YY's friend's apartment in Sydney was spot on. No hiccups at all. What I am gonna blog will be quite random as well, following no particular order. Appropriate captions will be in place.

It was a rather warm day in Sydney even
though it is winter. Taken outside the

Surprisingly, we didn't take many food photos even though we had lots of food as compared to Melbourne. Mostly Chinese/Asian food though... maybe that's why. Of course, everyone was raving about the pancakes in Sydney at Pancakes on the Rocks and we decided to pop by to have brunch on one of the days.

Savoury pancake from Pancake on the Rocks. More
of a crepe wrapped with chicken though. It was quite good.

Macademia nuts pancakes. I wasn't too keen on any
of the pancakes with lots of syrup or jam because I
reckon it would have been too sweet for my liking and
since YY and myself were macademia nut crazy, we
got this instead. It was normal to me.

Charlene's uber sweet Strawberry Pancakes. Not
for the faint-hearted.

Some random arty thing here and opposite it was...

...this.

Okies... that's all for this blog entry. More of Sydney coming soon... Akan datang
