"Que Sera, Sera, Whatever will be, will be The future's not ours to see Que Sera, Sera What will be, will be."
I hate coincidences especially when I sing a song or play it in my head. Moments later, it is being played in a radio, movie, or television show. If I was supertitious, it would seem like it was some sign of impending doom.
An interesting incident occurred when singing "Que Sera, Sera" while watching twenty-fifth episode of Mushi-shi. The reason sang it because a female character had a
Mushi in her eyes that could see the future of other people. There was nothing one could do to change it; pretty much, predetermined. My sister was watching Mary and Max and there was a scene where Mary was going to hang herself as "Que Sera, Sera" played. It's gets even funnier later on where Heathers begins with the same song. That particular film was about teenagers killing high school students and passing them off as suicide.
Sure, it's a well-known song and I'm just over-analyzing it, but I cannot help feel weirded out. I would have think it was telling me to take my own life. Not saying that I'm going to. If I had the any means and desire, I prefer peanuts coated with cyanide.
