How amazing do I feel at this moment in time?

It's actually quite unreal. I feel really strange, like... searching for a less cheesey word than empowered. Like, I can do whatever the fuck I want. Why? I have no idea, but it's strange and I like it.

Just back from Ireland, Oxegen and two major things (for me) has happend. I've decided to tell the bar folk to fuck off, why stay at a job I hate? Like really. I'm also going to FRANCE,. I'm spending a few nights in Paris then heading down the further South, (i think). Can't explain how excited I am.

Oxegen was just the best ever.

Headed over with Iain, Euan, Moiser and Callum on the Wednesday morning. Me and Euan started the day off ant 6.15 drinking in the airport. It felt like a fitting start to the weekend. Flight was like 30mins so that was cool. Jumped on a bus. Found our bearings in Temple bar, and got some chat off some Irish guy which was funny as fuck at like 8 in the morning or something he was steaming. Dumped out bags in the hostel. The hostel was very basic but exactly what I thought it would be like really. Three bunk beds and a tiny wee shower room. Roamed about, got some breakfast at a lovely wee cafe. Bought a football and went to the park whilst listening to the Salvation Army music that they were playing. Got our carry out. Tanned it and went to watch the France game. France won! I lost my bet at the bookies. Gutter. I thought it would have been 2-1. Ah well. Got drunk in some club, Huey from the Fun Lovin' Criminals owns. Then headed to the street in Temple bar. There was literally hundreads of French people. I was in Irish/French banter heaven. So, naturally we all started singing French football songs in French. Euan then grabbed me and proceded to put me on his shoulders. I was soo scared, that boy is so tall. THEN, then French guys started singing a song along the lines of ''get your tits out for the lads'' in French. MORTIFIED. Had a conga. Iain went missing. I fell out with Callum because he was being a shiote about Iain going missing. Haha. Still amazing first day.

The Thursday we left the hostel fairly early and went to the Guiness Factory. It was amazing. Seven stories of telling you how to make Guiness, but it wasn't like a normal museum it was actually really cool. And you got a free pint of Guiness at the end in the Gravity bar where you could see the whole of Dublin. I bought Guiness boxers. :) The place was so big that we ended up staying there the whole day. Bought a cd player and shite for festival. Went back to the hostel and drinking games commenced with my gash wine that was making me want to spew. Then headed over to the Auld Dubliner. Met all the people from the Forum. Getting random phone calls from strangers. Was pretty cool. Everyone we met was sound which was kind of surprising. Got royally drunk and came back to Hostel. This time Moiser fell out with Callum. It was the funniest moment of the whole weekend. I was under the covers absolutely pissing myself.

The Friday we stoated about really. Getting Festival supplies. Finding the bus station. Etc etc. Then got the bus eventually. The people on our bus were absolutely mental. Pure young but looked like proper hippies. Was cool. Pitched tents. Didn't really do much to be honest.

Saturday music. Didn't stay up at night.

Sunday music. Stayed up the whole night untill like 8 o'clock. Me and the lads were singing some songs including:

Flower of Scotland
Some song about Scotland and Ireland
Muff Diving
What's that coming over the hill is it a Moiser?
We're shite, and we know we are
Face down ass up, that's the way we like to...
Random rapping with Callum beat boxing
Tartan army boys type song
Rage against the Machine (when a tent went on fire)

Got some amazing chat. Some guy was teaching me how to Irish dance. Another guy was teaching me gaelic. Another guy was telling me I was a leprachorn (sp?) and another guy was telling me how to have an Irish accent. There was might piss taking. Alcohol swapping. Email address exchanging. It was one of the best festival nights i've had ever.

Yesterday we were all dying - a good weekend was had by all.

Two buses and a plane and we were home.
