I make it so easy for him

So I've talked about before how my powers of observation aren't all that great. On birthdays and Christmas, Ron likes to hide cards around the house. Now he's taken to sneaking other things in to see how fast I notice them, which I'm embarrassed to say is not very fast. I guess on the bright side is this makes my celebrations last longer.

He put a birthday card in my purse, which I didn't notice for a day. He put another birthday card underneath my keyboard, which I didn't notice until two days after my birthday. Then, on Christmas day, I start making dinner, Ron wakes up, we open presents. I got all sorts of neat stuff. Later that afternoon, catpawn and her RH came over to visit with the boys and to eat some dinner. The rats were cute as ever crawling all over her making her giggle when they tickled her ears, and she gave them Nutrical treats.

We're sitting down at the dining room table to eat, and I glance over into the computer room. I don't know why I have to be in a different room before I notice something different on top of my monitor, but just like back in October when I saw this: purple dragon, I'm looking in the computer room and my purple dragon doesn't look purple anymore. In fact, he looks black. I jump up thinking "what the hell happened to my dragon!?!" I make my way into the room and I see this:

Except on top of my monitor. How cute! I asked Ron how long it'd been on top of my monitor and he said it was there when I woke up so I guess that means he put it there the night before.

These guys were for sale at the Maryland Renn Faire in all sorts of colors and accessories. Here's a few more pictures:

Over the course of a few days, Ron added a tabasco bottle and the stein.

As we were getting ready to go to the movie that night (we went to see House of Flying Daggers, I notice something in my purse that doesn't look like I put there. Ron had put another key chain on my key set with my name on it with a New Mexico license plate look. Aww. :) The Christmas before I moved out to San Diego, Ron had given me a keychain made of string with blocks of letters on it spelling out my name then a round piece that says "I <3 you". Eight years later, I still have it. So now I have two keychains to remind me of how sweet my hubby is. I asked him when he put it there in my purse and he said, "Oh, on your birthday." Haha! Four days later and I notice it. He laughed about how he was able to wrap presents for me on Christmas Eve even though I was in the house and wandering about. Since I already saw stuff under our cute fiberoptic tree, I thought he was wrapping the stuff for catpawn, so I was pretty oblivious.
