So, this past weekend I just relaxed the whole weekend! I know it's rare that I get a whole weekend just to relax, but I was off of work and I decided to rest. Here is a little run down of what I did:
- Got my car titled in my mom's name as well as mine so we can get hella cheap car insurance. Now that it is in her and my name our car insurance for 12 months is only 1600 bucks! That's 2 drivers, with 3 cars, 2 of which have full coverage. Thank you AARP!!
- Got my hair cut. It's pretty sexy, everyone will have to comment once I put up my new pictures
- Helped my mom sign up for health insurance on the internet. For those of you who have never done this, it takes FOREVER and insurance companies ask enough questions to make not want health insurance!
- Went for a nature walk in the Petrified Forest in Kenosha w/ Kendall. We took some really cool pictures too and I will soon post these. It's always relaxing to just walk around in the woods with all the beautiful colors and smells. Not to mention that It was a BEAUTIFUL day outside. Also, we walked by a group of kids smoking weed and I got a nice wiff of it. *Sigh* Reminded me of the good ol' days.
- Went home and took a nap and did nothing the rest of Saturday.
- Sunday we did a little shopping and went back home to watch TV and do nothing.
So yeah, that was my weekend. Other then that, I got a 95 on my Production Management Mid-Term!! YAHOO! I was sooo excitied about this because that test counts for 35 % of our grade. I'm doing very well in school over all, much to my surprise. I thought this quarter was gonna be a bitch, but it's turning out to be OK. I just got my new registration form for registering for next year. A lot of my classes actually fell right into place and I MIGHT even try to pull 5 classes this trimester. I think I'll make my schedule out this way and then if I can't handle it I can always drop one.
Now for news on the house. We had the house we are going to buy inspected about 2 weeks ago. Everything turned up clear except a small problem with the A/C. The inspector guy told us to have the Seller service it before we baught it because it was not performing right. Well, they just had it serviced last year so that means it's going. We agreed that instead of making them pay for the whole thing, they would pay for half. I thought it was fair. Well Kendall calls Monday to find out if they got any estimates and they said that their friend told them there was nothing wrong. Go figure. They have been changing their minds on stuff we have verbally agreed on left and right. So we have come up with a figure that we want them to pay for the Air Conditioner. If they don't agree to it then we walk away from the house. We WILL be buying a house still, but just not this one. I've learned a very good lesson with this, NEVER DEAL WITH FAMILY!! It's a fucking pain in the ass.
That's it for now. More Later
