It actually came with Apartment Life! It's not like having a dog that runs around. The dog never leaves the pen, unless someone picks it up and holds it but then it goes right back in the pen. You still have to feed it and clean the pen. I almost think it's supposed to be a "practice dog" for kids. ^.^
