Today is the day I finished FFVII: Crisis Core. It took me a few years to be able to play it, and a few weeks to finish it. Took me long enough, huh. =p
And the ending... made me cried. XD
I've known 11 years ago that Zack's gonna die, anyway. But that didn't stop me from crying. ;__; Poor guy. He might've lived if he escaped by himself and just leave Cloud behind. But of course, if he didn't do that the main storyline wouldn't have existed in the first place. XD
Okay. Now Zack is officially my favourite FFVII character. I've kinda grown to like Cloud and Sephiroth again. And also, I've decided that I don't dislike Aerith after all.
When I played the original game, Zack for me was clearly Cloud's predecessor. Or actually it's like Cloud was Zack's shadow. Coz even from the beginning, everything seems to be connected to this unknown and all-imporant Zack-guy who seems to be connected to a big part of Cloud's past. And I found him annoying. XD
But after playing this game and getting to know this 'Zack-guy'... how could I possibly hate him? XDD He's the 'puppy' after all. Hehe. Cute. =3
As for Aeris... I was kinda annoyed with her in the original game, coz Cloud clearly liked her, and she kinda seems to like him, but not really like him. You get what I mean? It made Cloud looked a bit pitiful, coz he didn't seem to notice Tifa properly and kept going after Aerith. But now I'm glad that she was like that. Coz I'm all for Zack♥Aerith! Yeahh!! XD
And I used to get so sad when Aerith died in Disc 1 of the original game. But now I guess it's alright. The earlier she dies, the earlier she goes to meet Zack. =p And that scene in FFVII: Advent Children clearly showed them being together, so they must be, right? XDD The only bad thing is that, we couldn't use her Holy Gospel limit anymore. And it's such a waste. =p
And Cloud, in Crisis Core, was such a cute boy. =3 He totally looked up to Zack and even gave him a fanletter. Well, sort of. XDD And that abnormal level of travel-sickness... Cute!!! XDD *ruffles his chocobo hair*
It's too bad that Cloud becomes the Angsty Boy in the AC movie. Otherwise I could've liked him more. He even beat Vincent in agsty-ness. -__- But I guess, after remembering what actually happened... it's normal to get all guilty and forlorn... But it's no excuse to stop trying to live normally. Duh. *smack his chocobo head*
And Sephiroth. Haha. It's good to see his human side again. The AC movie made him look soo scary. Well. I wonder what would've happened if he knows that Jenova is actually not a Cetra.... Or did he already know? I don't remember. Oh well.
Okay enough ranting. There's one thing I don't understand though.
So, did Genesis end up becoming Kadaj or Yazoo? The two guys who picked him up, one of them sounded like Kadaj to me, and even seem to have his short silver hair. If that was Kadaj, that Genesis was probably Yazoo.
But then again, that could've been a younger Yazoo with short hair? I've always thought that Kadaj was the youngest one (coz he's kinda like a spoilt brat to me). So since Genesis was the last one to be made into their 'brother', maybe Genesis became Kadaj?
Or he could've become one of those creepy dudes in black cape.
LOL. Okay. Like, 90% of you might not even understand what the hell am I talking about. But if you do understand, and know what's going on, please share something with me. I'm dying to know. There might be something in the AC Complete movie... Hmm. Maybe I should try watching it. Or maybe the Dirge of Cerberus game.... perhaps I should play it... I don't have PS2 here, though....
