In general, birds an I don't get along very well (unless they're owned by family or friends). Especially when I'm driving. For the past few months, my Dad has been giving me manual driving lessons. I was really clumsy at first, but I've improved a lot over the months. Amazing.
Anyway, during my driving lessons, without fail, some stupid bird (usually a pigeon) decides that it wants to cross the road while I'm passing. What's up with that?
Last Friday, I dragged the "old gang" to Wagaya in the city. The earliest we could start at 8:00pm so I decided to have some ice cream at Passionflower while I waited for everyone to arrive. Wagaya is a pretty interesting restaurant. Ordering is done through a touch screen panel on the wall. We ended up just ordering and sharing lots of little dishes - the most interesting being the Sushi Roulette. In this particular dish, 1 out of 6 pieces of sushi is laced with stupid amounts of wasabi. Interestingly enough, the five "safe" pieces of sushi were chosen first and
harukitty ended up with the "poisoned" one.
It was like, destiny!
Thanks
harukitty, for taking the effort not to spray chunks of sushi in our general direction! :D
Took you long enough...

It took about six years to "get around" to it but...
After finally getting past the 5 hour mark all the way to the second disc, I "allowed" myself to look at the Tales of Symphonia art book I bought way back when, and used it as a reference to doodle what I think is the cutest pairing in the whole game.
The pic is based on the 'Z' skit where Genis is having a hard time trying to figure out what to give Presea as a present and in the end decided to give her a sharpening stone.
I like my clumsy but strong-willed female lead characters, so Colette will (unfortunately) be my favourite ToS character. But Presea comes a close second with her cuteness and tragic past. I seem to have an obsession with her name too. I think it's nice o_o;
I've clocked about 55 hours on my first play with probably another 5 or so hours to go - which is amazing considering my general impatience for long RPGs thanks to years of MMO drugs.
The question remains, however: Where do I go after ToS?
Play Dawn of the New World right away? Play the PS2 version of ToS and try to unlock all the special costumes? Play Tales of the Abyss???
Hmmm... decisions, decisions...
