Instead they were charming. The way they have learned to trust each other. Jin, who is so wonderful in taking care of the little sick turtle.. and Kame that rest his head on Jin’s shoulder, and even falls asleep. All of this in the middle of a terrible storm, with high waves, the ship that rolls horribly.. brrrrr!
As I absolutely love hot akame moments.. here one of my favourite parts. I really liked how you described the beginning of the attraction: Jin’s hand is forgotten, near Kame’s ear. He can feel the pulse of the turtle becoming quick. Kame’s eyes are growing darker. I think that it doesn’t need big things to build an atmosphere, and you created a wonderful feeling in just few words.
Then, the misunderstanding, so funny (Jin is a bit of a drama queen!). And after that, when Kame comes back in Jin’s room, so good to see how he can be demanding and sure of himself. And how Jin is still unbelieving.. “It's not,” he mumbles, “not because you feel grateful, or something?” :DD
And the scene was hot, totally. So..
m(_ _)m Arigatou!

I'm so glad that you liked the building of the atmosphere in the morning, and Jin is a lot of a drama queen - he's already written a worst case scenario in his head, poor boy, no wonder he cannot quite reconcile it with a willing turtle in a bathrobe outside his door.
My pet moment in this chapter - if you are interested - is Kame's insecurity about beeing considered fat if he isn't stick-thin, it was one of those moments that write themselves and it makes me just want to squeeze them both they are so cute in it))

It's so human, so real. It could be a sentence anybody would say.. it's so natural.
It's very interesting the way one moment can touch you deeply, even if it's only one sentence. But in that moment, the story stops to be something you are reading and become something you are feeling inside.
Sorry for my late reply.. RL asking my full attention.. O.o
