Are we 100% better yet? Nearly.

I know I haven't posted in a while. It's hard to post soemthing everyday when you do the same things over and over. I mean come on, how much do you wnat to hear about my laundry and cleaning?

I had been sick last week and lost over 4 pounds from not eating. I'm finally back to mostly normal. I only have short bouts of queasiness and my headache is gone. Ed is better too. He got sick Thursday night  (partly due to stress) but was feeling almost normal on Sunday for the race. He didnt' run the race like he wanted to but walked and still had a good time.

Mother's day was interesting. We went to Panera Bread for lunch and Thomas threw up. He took two bites of his PB & J and emptied his stomach contents onto his tray. He had whatever it was that Ed and I had. He felt better after the purge so we continued on with our day (a quick shopping trip and a visit to my mom's). That night Thomas still had an upset stomach and woke me at midnight. He said his tummy hurt so I tried to hurry him into the bathroom. He didn't make it. He threw up right in the middle of my doorway. I cleaned him and the carpet up and sent him back to bed. A little while later he came back down and had a bit of diarreah (sp?).

The next morning was Ed's first day at the new job and he woke to find Thomas's deposit still in the toilet. When he tried to flush it, it wouldn't go down. Our toilet had been really slow and took several flushes and an occasional plunge to get things moving. Well, this morning it was completely clogged. No movement whatsoever. Of course Ed got frustrated but contiued getting ready for work while I called a plumber. The plumber came at 9 am and got the toilet back to normal, thank goodness.

Aeryn has discovered her toes! She's also going through a growth spurt. She's slept a lot the past few days. Yesterday she was awake for a total of 5 hours and then she slept in until 9 am this morning. She's napping now and who knows when she'll wake up.

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that she doesn't get whatever Ed, Thomas and I had. Sick babies are no fun!

I've decided I'm done with breastfeeding. I was down to two feedings a day but I'm ready for my body and hormones to go back to normal once and for all. I'm a little sad because this is the last child I'll have and I'll never be able to enjoy that special time with a baby again, but it's time. I've started cutting out the evening feeding and by the end of the weekend she should be completely weaned.

I've been doing a bunch of eBay'ing lately. Every two years it seems I go through an eBay craze. I sold a couple of items and bought some equipment for Thomas to do sparring in taekwondo. The things I sold covered some of things I bought. Oh, and Celest wanted a beanie baby on eBay. She gave me the money so I purchased it for her. With shipping it was $11, but it was her money.
