Over the last three weeks I have spent at least 3 days of each week with Hokuto and his sixteen year old sister Eura. It has been quite the event!
The two of them are like a comedy act, switching between doting siblings to fighting ones and back again without a moments notice! They steal food from each other, call each other idiot, and make fun of each other. On the first weekend, Eura had just arrived and (as her luggage was made up mainly of Japanese snacks for Hokuto) I drove them to the Wrentham Outlet Mall. We also went to the Attleboro Art Museum because it boasted something about being the next big one after Boston---I believe there was some exaggerating done...
Next weekend we started out on Friday and ended Sunday. We had gone to New York, with Caitlin! We went to the Met and MoMA and Hokuto got us tickets for Mary Poppins on Broadway!!!! It was really fun! But so tiring~! (NOTE: I've been working 7-3:30 in a VERY hot warehouse Monday-Friday those past two weeks)
Yesterday, as my new schedule went into affect, I took Eura and Hokuto to Six Flags! Hokuto is TERRIFIED of rollercoasters and they were Eura's favorite ride type. :) I could only go on so many rides because I get motion sick easier these days but we still went on a ton of them! We also played some of the games: the water gun ones and skee ball. We wanted to try to get all the Sonic characters from the water game but we only won two: Shadow(Eura)and Knuckles(me). I really wanted a GIANT frog "prince" from the skee ball game but we gave up after like six tries. If Hokuto or I won it I was gonna give Hokuto Knuckles...but we didn't win...
