I got shiny new wheels today. Mags and tires, they look awesome and are lighter than my steelies. Now I shouldn't have so much wheel trouble. But it probably wasn't such a good idea to do it when I was sick cause I felt worse today after power walking from the tire shop to work.

At my first job I stabbed my finger with a staple by accident and it bled. THEN at my second job i did it again! In the same finger even! WTF?

I had my first day of paid work as opposed to work experience. I'm still keeping my Coles job though I only just got my discount card and the extra money is a good reason to keep it. Plus I kinda like it at Coles never thought I would but there you go.

I had a long day today! Work Experience 8:30am - 4:30 pm. Work 5:30pm-9:30pm. Get ready for bed 10:30pm.

I changed my times of availability with Coles so it doesn't clash with  my other work so now I'm on the closing shifts when they put me on.

So yesterday I broke my cup which was glass and had a handle and it's happened many times before. So the placement I bought today is plastic and while it has no handle at least it's big.

Also I only have one shift next week, stupid budget cuts and me having a higher pay rate cause I'm over 20 and have a degree.

During my shift today I got to fill up the little drinks fridges at the end of the registers which is also something I had never done before. Wonder when they'll get me to do confectionery.

I did something different at work today they had me at the register connected to the service desk so I got to sell cigarettes. I'd never done it before so it was kinda stressful as I had no idea where the different ones were or how old people looked either the customers had to keep correcting me about what they wanted. It was Daffodil day today, we could dress up in yellow for work but I didn't have anything much yellow to wear. One girl called Stacy wore safety yellow, it hurt your eyes to look at her.

So there has been a redevelopment going on for about a year to bridge a gully between two shopping centres and link them up, with a whole lot of new shops ( Read more... )

Had my first day of training at Coles today. Most of it was spent at a register watching an interactive teaching thing, it was really weird as there were lots of different voices all at different volumes so some were really loud while others were really soft. Also when you finished a section the clapping was even louder still it gave me a headache ( Read more... )
