Caspian, broken car and job interview
I've been meaning to update of a while and what do you know I finally got around to it.
I went to the show on the 4th with Melissa and Jamie as well as Jamie's wife and sons. It was ok I guess, there were a lot of new rides and the Ferris Wheel was amazing. It was really snazzy with automatic doors and air conditioning, the view was amazing, it made me wish I had brought the camera along as the one in my phone is not very good. Other than that it wasn't that great, but the hanging out with friends was fun.
On the following Tuesday I when to the movies with Mel to see Prince Caspian, the latest Narnia movie. It was great, even though it doesn't follow the book completely it follows it a lot more than say Ella Enchanted. And the action was amazing, also the guy who plays Caspian is hot, and I LOVE his accent, pity it isn't real. Afterward Mel went home and I found the car wouldn't start, and my phone was being dozy and wouldn't let me into the phone book so I couldn't call Mel back.
I called the RACQ and when they turned up they couldn't find out what was wrong with it, but they manage to get it started so I could go home. So we put the car in to get looked at and they couldn't find anything wrong with it either. But it works now so go figure.
Since my phone seemed to be giving out I bought a new one with money I got from Centerlink, they had in their records that I had worked at Baskin and Robins and earnt $500 so they had to pay some more money since I didn't have as much as they thought I did, because I never worked at Baskin and Robins. Any way I am very happy with my phone, it is a Sony something and plays mp3s, I would like to get a bigger memory card for it but they are expensive.
Anyway last Friday I got asked if I was available for a job interview for a job at Airlie Beach. So I am going to Mackay on Thursday night for an interview on Friday at lunch time, in Mackay. depending on when I need to start if I get the job and things like that, since I would have to move there, I might stay in Mackay for a while and visit with my Nana. But my Aunt from Brisbane and her family are coming to visit sometime soonish so I will want to be here to see them.
