many posts = too much work
This is a sign I have too much to do, when I need a TINY break and thus post on Livejournal.
Three things:
1) the girl across the table from me in Olin is just chatting online and laughing hysterically at whatever she and her typing companion are, um, typing about. She's red in the face. I'm annoyed, as I am finishing a paper and want it to be DONE.
2) I was walking by Olin yesterday and I overheard two girls talking about the banners that are up for Take Back the Night. One of them said, and I quote, "I mean, when girls talk about date rape and shit I'm just like, shut the fuck up, you were wasted!" Other girl: "Oh my god, I know what you mean." Me: crying, dying inside.
seriously. Whatthefuck people. Have you heard of unity? have you heard of the whole concept where rape is NEVER EVER EVER the victim's fault?
yes they struck a nerve. But it's a valid nerve.
Boo stupid girls. I hate you.
(yes, I'm feeling a wee bit prone to hyperbole)
