Trick or Tr-EEEEEEEK!

I *finally* know what I'm going to be for Halloween.  ::wipes brow:: Fwew!

Usually I know in, like, July at the latest.  This year I had some ideas, but nothing was grabbing my by my proverbial balls.  I knew I wanted to do something scary and/or oldschool, like zombies or monsters.  Also, I didn't want to be a "sexy" anything this year.  BARF!  Plus I'm kinda chubby right now and none of that stuff would be at all flattering.  But my ideas were so nebulous I was finding it hard to create a costume in my head.  I had been serching for something to inspire me - a prom dress from the '80's (HS zombie, Carrie), a grey wig (ghost HP style), anything.  And since I'm hosting a Halloween party, the pressure is on!

I found Dom's costume idea first:

It's perfect because he a) LOVES Gordon Ramsey and b) it's wicked cheap and easy.  A chef's jacked from the local Work'n'Gear (about $15) and, because Dom keeps his hair yuppie-short, a wig:

I think it's funny that a werewolf wig is that close to Ramsey's hair.  Heehee!

Well, the problem is that the only "couple-y" costume I could think of to go with Doms was:

Um... no.  Although in hindsite it would have been super funny if I had walked around the party all night with trays of DD's coffee and Triscuts.... but still, no.  My face hurts just looking at her smile.

So last night I was working from home (equal parts wine, internet, TV, sprinkled with a pinch of work) chatting with Mop (because he was my Kristin surrogate) and it came to me in a flash:

EVIL WILLOW!  It's scary (black contacts, veins, super-smart-uber-powerful-good-turned-bad-love-of-life-murdered-vengance monster), it's "old school" (sad that Buffy is now old school.  or old.), it's easy, it's cheap (well, maybe not the contacts, but everything else).  The bonus points?  Those in the know will be instantly recognized as awesome in my book (AIMB).  Also very easy to drink and eat in this costume - basically black jeans and a black shirt.  This is evil *witch* Willow, not evil *vampire* Willow, who's definately sluttier and has a far more complicated costume.

Now the search for black contacts.  Prolly partial ones, as seen in the pic above (usually listed as "pinhead" contacts).  The full black eyes contacts cost upwards of $140, but something like the ones above I could get for $50-ish, plus the eye exam.  And I now have THREE Halloween parties to attend this year, so the cost-breakdown is looking good!
