hooooolaa.
i just got back from san francisco today, which was ridiculous and the weather was absolultey perfect, but now my body is running on california time so i feel like its 9 right now when it's really 12. so today we flew home which sucked cause it was the most turbulent plane ride ever and i was legit convinced we were gonna die. but we had mass amounts of candy with us cause it's easter. :) so got home, showered and ate and such. then emma and austin came over and we made cookies and chilled. then em left and austin and i watched the OC from two weeks ago and 'animal house' which is a hilarious movie.
weds - got up wicked early with my dad and went to the airport. flew out to san fran (6 hours). got in at like 1 thanks to the time change and checked into our adorable nautical-themed hotel whcih is right on fisherman's wharf. walked around the city and ended up at my uncle dave's condo right on top of nob hill (amazing). went out to italina food at a tiny little cafe near his hous ewhich was really nice.
thursday - got up and picked up our sweet yellow mustang convertible. picked up my uncle and as we were driving a bird shit on my head...sweeeet. drove through haight-ashbury which is the hippie section of san fran and is where the grateful dead got their start. drove down to palo alto to tour stanford (i am in love with it) and had chinese food in downtown palo alto. drove back to san francisco and out over to berkeley so i could look at uc berkeley. went shopping in downtown berkeley and i got some vintage swedish clogs and a hemp belt. drove back and went out to dinner at a sweet seafood restaurant in ghirardelli square. mom and erik flew in at like 11.
friday - got up and took a cable car around san francisco and my birkenstock fell off so they had to stop the entire thing and my mom had to run through traffic to get it. then walked around san fran for a bit, took a ferry over to alcatraz and toured it. then went back and chilled in teh room and went out to dinner with my uncle to a garlic restaurant in the north beach area.
saturday - walked to union square wiht my mom and found a prom dress at bcbg. it's so pretty :) then walked back through north beach and got coffee and truffles and walked around with her. then went bnack to the hotel then out to seafood with my uncle again.
sunday (today) - got up very early and came home. basically that's it.
