Autumn is here, more or less. Nighttime comes earlier and lasts longer. It's my season; it's also a busy season.
It's not really news. Silent Hill 2 is getting a remake. Otsuichi and Otojya of 2BRO did a let's play of the HD version of Silent Hill 2 8 years ago, and I watched a bit of that (Link). Their commentary and reactions were quite entertaining.
8 years later, they are invited to do a preview livestream of Silent Hill 2 Remake in Japanese ahead of the release date (Link). It feels a bit surreal to listen to them comment on the similarities and differences between the original and the remake as they play the remake. Anyway, the remake seems to helm quite close to the original, albeit with updated visual and modern control (and Japanese voice if you choose).
