Yamada Naoko is working on an original anime project at Science SARU. The project is titled Garden of Remembrance, and it will be an anime film (short?).
Trigun is getting a new anime remake courtesy of Studio Orange titled Trigun Stampede in 2023. Wasn't expecting that.
In other news, this year marks the 15th anniversary of Mononoke. There were announcements about an exhibit and new projects, and my wish came true. A new Mononoke anime film will be released in 2023.
On the video game side, the second part of the Final Fantasy VII remake is officially announced. Titled Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the game will be released next winter (2023-2024 winter -- that's sooner than I thought). Also, Crisis Core is getting a much needed remaster this winter. (More Zack is always good.) Not sure if they will update the story to accommodate the FFVII remake verse or not.
