Anime film post.

Yuri on Ice: Ice Adolescence is officially delayed. It's not exactly surprising since there had been no news at all for much of 2019, and it's already autumn. I suppose Yamamoto Sayo's "one anime every four years" routine has struck again -- not that it's been announced when the movie will be released yet.

The 6-part Princess Principal movies have also been delayed, but at least there's an actual date for when the first of six movies will come out: April 10, 2020. There are some cast changes (Ange's seiyuu has retired from voice acting, and they've cast another seiyuu in the role) and staff changes. The movie series is officially titled Princess Principal Crown Handler, and it takes place after the end of the TV series.

Given is getting an anime film in 2020 under Fuji TV's BL anime label Blue Lynx, and it will focus on Haruki, Akihiko and Ugetsu. I've been wondering what's the deal with Akihiko and Ugetsu; I suppose the movie will have the answer to that. (Maybe I'll hold off on the manga for now...)
