The Untamed
Been into a wuxia-cross-fantasy web series called The Untamed (陳情令). It's quite fun to watch even without the shipping goggles on (not that I need them anyway). One of the main plotlines is basically about how a mischievous but compassionate trouble-maker captures the heart of the strait-laced honour student and vice versa. There's also the more typical wuxia themes about vanquishing the wicked, helping the weak and poor, clashes over different ideals, family and friendship, betrayal and revenge etc.
Oh, and did I mention that the web series is very loosely based on a BL novel series? There aren't any M/M elements in the web series, but there's quite a bit of subtext. Even if you ignore the subtext, it's still an enjoyable wuxia series. (And the actors are quite good-looking, particularly the male lead, who has a very pretty smile.)
The series is 50 episodes long; it took me two weeks to watch the whole thing (twice). The web series in its entirety is available on youtube with English subtitle.
