Say there's a man who you've known for years and still don't really know.
You want to tell him that for some unknown reason, even though you barely deal with each other that you would do anything he needed.
You're not in love with him, sometimes you don't understand him at all, but every time he hurts every fiber in your being wants to make it ok.
You don't fit into his world and don't use his vernacular.
He's a difficult person to deal with sometimes and he's made some enemies among your friends.
But you don't really care . . . you just need to tell him this little thing.
Here's the problem: every time you've tried to offer any support or guidance or even friendship he ignores it.
He doesn't even seem to particularly like you at all.
What do you do? And why do you bother? Is it because you see the opertunity for friendship and redemption? Or is it some psycho-mothering complex?
What would you say?
