I think I'm going to go with an A-line skirt base and make the casings out of matching bias tape. I haven't decided yet if I'll use actual rope (i.e. twine) or something synthetic (i.e. from Joanns home dec section). I'm worried that the rope won't wash well...
This is still far in the future yet. Still need to finish the corset first. :)
