Hey, it's only the 9th... Maybe I'm getting better with my time management? :D Back from Winter Break and my family's yearly overseas trip (this time to Italy). More details will be forthcoming, but first:

I'm somewhat leaning toward it, but it would be after I finish everything else currently on the to do list and then only after Satine's Gothic Tower Dress.

Weren't we going to be twins? *evil grin*

Naturally we can plot our evil overthrow of the world together. ;) Anything I find is yours, but again won't be for a while yet.

I'll get to it eventually, once I get my sewing mojo back. I'm probably going to break down and buy more fabric so that I have enough to do the big flowy sleeves. Just wouldn't be the same without them. :)

I'm a graduate student: Ph.D. candidate, Clothing and Textiles - Apparel Product Design and Analysis.

Makes it sound all official and spiffy, no? :D

I've dabbled in theatre costume locally but my main focus is apparel design.

yeah, i know what you mean. ;)

I've been thinking about going to school for something in the costumeing/ fashion biz and not quite sure what... but nice to "know" someone who is actually doing ti. what school are you going to? I was thinking about SCAD, but not too sure if they have what I want to have to pay out of state tuition and all... just im limbo i guess. ;)

I'm actually at VA Tech. I wanted to go in-state. I looked at a few smaller colleges (Bridgewater, among others) but their departments just weren't as large as Tech. I've been very happy with my teachers and really like the school (obviously ;). There's a college in Shennandoah, VA that I've heard was really good for fashion/theatre. And of course, the golden three: FIDM in CA, FIT in NYC, and Parsons in NYC.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
