Room 425, Sunday afternoon

After all of the excitement on Saturday, Rapunzel had sort of stumbled back into her room and passed out without any trouble at all. None of the tossing and turning that she would have expected from being in an unfamiliar place, an unfamiliar bed.

And then she'd woken up and the excitement of it all had washed over her before she could get worried.

But now she'd actually slowed down enough to take stock of things.

This room was so small. Not that she begrudged Hanna her space. Hanna was very nice, after all! But... Rapunzel was used to having the entire tower to herself most of the time. Mother was away so much that she was just used to all that space.

And it was only now, in this little room, with her hair matted and tangled from the flight and the salt water at the beach yesterday, that it occurred to her just how useful that kind of space was when you had as much hair as she did.

She'd gotten the brush through about half of her hair, but now she had finally gotten to a point where she couldn't get to the rest of it. Not until she found a way to drape it so that it wasn't always in the way. So she opened her door and moved into the hallway, hair trailing from behind her as she looked for places to put the mass she'd already brushed through.
