It has been 10 years since my (Dogwood) chapter of the Knights of Malta have hosted an Assembly weekend. Because of the decline in fundraising and participation in the Vancouver gay community, we couldn't do even near what was possible a decade ago. I haven't seen Bryce in a couple of years. I's nice to see him again.

The same thing as me. The last I saw him was Assembly 2010 in Seattle. Was good to see him here this time. Likely will see him again next year in Fresno if things work out. :)

The Star Trek exhibit sounds awesome!

I believe it travels to different cities so we were lucky to have it here. It's no longer here now but I'm fortunate to have went to it - it was my first Star Trek event. It's funny looking at the costumes the actors wore and how they blend so well in their environment (lighting effects) compared to seeing them up close in real life. The place wasn't big but there was a good variety of things from all the series and movies.
