I have just spent a brilliant weekend in London with my daughter,..she didnt know what she wanted for her recent birthday, so..as i knew she wanted to see the Phantom of the Opera, i suggested that as her present,..she ..delighted..agreed. We had a fantastic time, the caoch journey was tiring to say the least, we both hate being cooped up for hours, but there was no way i was driving in and around London, so it was a nessecity...the performance was wonderful, the evening meal and breakfast next morning in the hotel was very good, the room was clean and had everything it needed...right next to heathrow airport, must be soundproofed well, cos didnt hear the planes..saw them through the dining room window though, then we got to spend 4 hours in Oxford..shopping ..in the rain lol...bought some books, found a posh hotel, and sat resting for a while, then the coach journey back home...was about 9.30 pm by the time we got back, both tired out, but happy....she now wants to go again ...she has a list of stuff she wants to see.
