Aliens
The 7 years old Donghae looks up to the sky, gawking at the countless stars. It was a starry night, and the kid was amazed. As he was being mesmerized by the sky, he thought of aliens, and wondered if it would come out from one of those, shiny sparkling thingy.
Donghae blinked, and suddenly saw a man in front of him. The man knelt down, and Donghae looked down on, studying the man's face. The man was utterly beautiful. He had a red hair, and he was stark pale.
The man had wonderful brown orbs, and he had a cute gummy smile.
Donghae blinked again.
"Ahjusshi." He called cutely. "Are you a boy?"
The man chuckled and pinched Donghae's cheeks. He flashed him again another gummy smile, and Donghae felt butterflies in his stomach.
"Yes, Donghae." Donghae blinked. How'd he know his name?
"Ahjusshi. Are you an alien?"
The man chuckled once again and stood up, patting the boy's head.
"Maybe." Donghae blinked once more.
The man smiled, and turned to walk away, when Donghae grabbed his knees, and hugged it, as if to stop him from going. The man turned around. Donghae pouted. The man smiled again, and knelt down, his eyes and Donghae's met.
"Someday, Donghae..." He said. "Someday, we'll meet again."
And then he was gone.
The memory was locked in Donghae's brain, and he preserved it even when he was in high school. The man was his first love, and Donghae never forgot the heartfelt memory. He kept it in his heart, and waited patiently. He knew he would come.
One day, Donghae was at school, staring at the sky. He ignored the teacher's comments about the new student. He was too busy looking up at the clouds, wondering, thinking about a lot of things. But then, a certain voice woke him up from his reverie.
He turned. It was that voice. The man's. He looked at the student, and found himself locked in the gaze of the new student. The new student smiled, when Donghae noticed him.
"Hello. I'm Lee Hyukjae, but you can call me EunHyuk." He said, not taking his eyes off Donghae.
He stared at Donghae, and the latter stared back. It was as if he was talking to him.
Donghae could pry his eyes away from the newbie. There was only the two of them. And everything else disappeared.
He's still the same. He thought.
He felt his heart beat ten times faster when he realized that Eunhyuk was walking to him. He flashed his gummy smile at Donghae - and oh, his heart. He passed by Donghae, but not before leaving a note.
Donghae looked at the piece of paper on the edge of the table. He felt his hand shaking as he took the note.
OMO. He touched this. Wahhh...
He flipped the note, and he found the message.
Hello. We meet again.
Told you so.
Take me out on a date?
Donghae felt the butterflies in his stomach, and somehow, he couldn't stop smiling. Yeah. They met again.
