hello, my basic question is, when do you use active voice in icelandic?

you always use it after "geta", right? are there other verbs that you always use it after?

I started trying these modules, and I'm having trouble because absolutely nothing is in English. Some things are logical to figure out (like hi, how are you?) but as it goes on, I have no clue what people are saying. Am I missing something? Any tips for working through this?
