I'm really confused on when to use 가/이 and when to use 는/은. I know the former are subject particles and the latter, topic particles but I don't really know what that means :)) Help, please? Examples would be extremely appreciated.

When talking about motion in English, "come" means moving to the location of the speaker or hearer. In French, "come" can only mean moving to the location of the speaker.

Korean has the verb 오다 that can mean movement towards the location of the speaker, for example: 부모님께서 우리 집에 오세요, my parents are coming to my/our house.

What is the difference in usage between 화가 and 화공? Minjung says that both mean "a painter; and artist"? It only gives 화가 if you go in the English->Korean direction, though.
