It's neither rice nor porridge.

A gray area, somewhere in between.  A big project that goes no where.  Cook rice with lots of water and you end up with porridge.  An unskilled cook turns rice kernels into a mush that is neither rice nor porridge.

(Noun)하고 and (noun)하고 같이 is similar to saying "(together) with (noun)" in English.
Some verbs are reciprocal, such as 전화하다 - to phone, and do not allow the use of the word 같이 - together. In describing joint activities 같이 is optional.

A: 스티부 지금 뭐 해요?
B: 제인하고 전화해요.

A: 스티부 지금 뭐 해요?
B: 샌디하고 (같이) 공부해요.

~었어요 / ~았어요 / ~ㅆ어요 is the verb conjugation for past tense actions.

Like with regular conjugation ~었 is used with verbs ending in the vowel 아 or오. ~았 is used with other vowels. ~ㅆ is used with vowel contractions such as 가다 (dict)--> 가았어요 (present) --> 갔어요 (past).

오다 --> 와요 --> 왔어요
먹다 --> 먹어요 --> 먹었어요
좋다 --> 좋아요 --> 좋았어요

- A predicate is made negative by adding the negative adverb in front of it. So 가요 becomes 안 가요, 먹어요 --> 안 먹어요, 와요 --> 안 와요.

은요/는요? is used to get the listener to focus on another topic. It's like saying "What about (new topic)?" or "How about (new topic)?"

제니: 마이클 씨는 학교에 매일 와요? [Michale, do you come to school everyday?]
마이클: 네, 매일 와요. 제니 씨는요? [Yes, I come everyday. What about you, Jenny?]
제니: 저는 월요일, 수요일, 금요일만 와요. [I only come on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.]

The conjunction 그래서 indicates the cause-and-effect relation between two sentences.
Simply put, 그래서 is like saying "so" or "therefore."

~(으)로 is added to nouns to expresses a means of transportation. 으로 is used after a consonant, except ㄹ and 로 is used after vowels.

I heard junpyo (BOF) say "너지?" that's a short cut for "It's you right?"
ohh and how do you say "right??" and "wrong??"
