I tried looking (not very hard… if I can’t find it in five minutes, it’s time to ask someone) for the translation to this phrase that keeps popping up in the books I’m reading on Korea at the moment. Anyone know what “하면 돼요” means? Apart from the obvious “I don’t mind if you do that”… I think it’s some kind of proverb or way of thinking particular to Korea. I’m just curious.

L'ANSWER: I asked a Korean friend (some say I should have just done that in the first place). She said that I was after 하면 된다, and it's a Korean expression meaning something along the lines of "do your best". TANX 4 UR HELP GAIZ.
