I'm translating a song, and I'm almost done (finally), but there's a few things that confuse me to no end.
The first is this:
「あなたが強く愛してくれるから
少しは強くなれたかな・・・」
The first line should be 'because I loved you so very much' or something to that effect, I believe. I have no idea for the second part... is it about growing stronger because of that?
The second... in the phrase '~くれたあなたが居れない' would it be 'you who did ~' or 'you who I did ~ for'? I have a hard time figuring out who's doing what...
And this sentence I just plain don't get.
悲しみはいつもの日が強さへと変わるの？
