I know I've been particularly ranty in the past few days, especially about art... that having been said, here's some more! 8D
I've had it up to HERE with Elfwood. I've been on the site for what, four years now? Something like that, and I hadn't ever gotten anything rejected until that Cloud painting I did for Kristy a month or two ago. I "fixed" it (removed ten or twenty pixels of white space *eyeroll*) and resubmitted it, and haven't heard back about it yet. But now something else is rejected. -_- A frigging PAINTING was rejected for "item quality not acceptable." Not a sketch, not a lineart doodle, a painting on canvas. Granted, not my finest work ever, but still neater and tidier than a lot of smudgy graphite things I see up that are allowed... it's this one: Lady of the Mushrooms It's the highest image quality I can manage with my digital camera, I can't scan it because it's 2'x 2'. So it must just be that the mods don't like her claw hands, lol.
I'd expect this from Epilogue, but I never thought Elfwood would get so... elitist? I haven't even gotten a comment in months, so I think I'll just let my Elfwood fester in inactivity whilst focusing on the other half-dozen online galleries I'm on. Elfwood, you are dead to me!
Long story short, I have an update in Elfwood, but if you've been following my personal site, you've seen it all before anyway. ;)
This in addition to commission nonsense, a coworker whom I have to babysit constantly (despite the fact that she's been there a month and a half longer than me, and that she's got a good ten years on me), having six shifts in a row, one day off, then a bunch more, and having to scamper through cold rainy streets to and fro work have made me cranky. ^-^'
